River Shockingly Turns To Dry Land At Kara Market In Lagos (Photos)

A part of the popular Ogun River which flows under the Kara Bridge around Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State suddenly and shockingly turned dry today June 18th.
The Kara cattle market community under the bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway has become a Mecca of some sort as people besieged the community to see the dried section of the river which once provided water for the Kara cattle and ram market.
Residents of the area say they woke up this morning to see the river which served as one of their means of transportation where canoes were used to reach the dense waters, totally dry and it wasn’t like that the day before.
The surface of the water had become firm and people can now stand on the portion of the river.
