YBNL frontman Olamide is set to release his 6th studio album in a couple of months according to sources.
The rapper is said to be putting in a lot of work to drop the album in a few months time.
It was also learnt that tracks like 'Abule sowo', 'I love Lagos' and 'Konkobility' may not make the cut on the album.
Olamide came into the music scene on releasing his debut album "Rapsodi" in 2011 under ID Cabasa's Coded Tunes and has since gone on to release four other albums under his own label Y.B.N.L Nation. namely "YBNL"(2012), "Baddest Guy Ever Liveth"(2013), "Street OT"(2014), "Eyan Mayweather"(2015).
He also has a compilation album with fellow indigenous rapper Phyno titled "2 kings" released in 2015.
The
rapper who has been decorated with many awards for his countless number
of popular hit songs including has had consistency going on for him
since he started recording in 2011.
His brand has become accepted over the years that he now holds an annual concert towards the end of the year tagged Olamide live in concert (OLIC) which
has had two editions since its inception in 2014. The rap act this
year 2016 also had an extension of the concert into the United States of
America tagged OLIC U.S Tour covering cities like Chicago, New York and
Maryland.
The self-acclaimed 'Baddo' is also working on putting out albums out for his label acts, the most imminent one being Adekunle Gold's debut album titled "Gold", which will be dropping in July 2016.
